FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What the desk is, what it hands you, what it reads, what it costs, and when you can have one. If an answer here reads like a pitch, it is a bad answer and we would like to know.

What is Weightedly?

You get the reading you would do yourself if you had the time. Weightedly is a desk that reads the places your market actually talks, weighs every thread it finds, and raises the few worth answering.

Each one reaches you as a grounded brief you can write from in your own voice. Most of what the desk reads it lets go, quietly. That is the point: what lands on your screen is short because the bar is high.

What is Weightedly intelligence?

Three reads, handed to you instead of dug out of a dashboard.

What your market is asking, so your next piece answers demand that already exists. Which buyers are deciding right now, while the decision is still open. And where your category is moving, so a shift reaches you as a read on where it is heading rather than as a surprise.

Who is it for?

Brands whose customers talk to each other in public, and whose audience can spot marketing at fifty yards. Makers, hobbyists, technical practitioners, and the people who write for them.

In practice it is usually one person carrying content with two other jobs, or a small team that needs the week to start with material rather than with a blank calendar.

Does it write my content for me?

No, and it cannot. Weightedly builds briefs. You write the piece.

A brief is built from what the conversation actually contains, and anything the desk cannot confirm reaches you flagged as a question rather than stated as fact. You write in your own voice, and a human presses publish, every time. There is no auto-publish setting, plan, or API, because it was never built.

What is in a brief?

The core idea the conversation is really about. The angle that is yours to take. Why it matters now. And the gaps a writer has to respect: the things the thread does not settle, handed over as open questions instead of quietly filled in.

A brief is a decision input. It is not a piece of content, and it is never published anywhere.

Will it flood me?

No. A desk raises about thirty briefs a month, roughly one per working day. The count is small because the bar is high.

A quiet week looks like a quiet week. When a source goes quiet or a feed breaks you see exactly that, calmly stated, never a filled-in guess.

What sources does it read?

Public conversation: subreddits, niche forums, YouTube comments, and blogs. Wherever your customers talk to each other, including the threads where your name never comes up, which are usually the ones that matter.

Private channels stay private. The desk reads the conversation, not the person, and it does not build profiles of the people posting.

Why now, instead of a social listening tool?

Because you already know how loud it is. Listening tools count what was said and chart the mood. That is coverage, and coverage does not tell you what to do on Tuesday.

The desk answers the other question: which few threads deserve you this week, and what you would actually say. It arrives with the brief, not with an alert.

What does it cost?

A desk is $449 a month: one brand, three seats, up to five sources, about thirty draft-ready briefs a month. A bureau is $1,500: ten seats, fifteen sources, about fifty briefs. An agency is $2,500: fifty seats, twenty-five sources, about one hundred fifty briefs. Billed monthly.

Every desk gets the whole reading. The sizes change how many seats and sources you bring, and how much reaches you. Running more than one brand, or someone else’s, means talking to us.

When can I start?

Weightedly is in early access, and desks open fall 2026.

The fastest way in is twenty minutes on a call. We run the desk against your own community first, and open with one raised thread and the brief that came with it.

What does this site collect?

No cookies. No ad trackers. No third-party embeds, scripts, or remote assets of any kind. Analytics is our own, self-hosted and cookie-less, and it counts pages read, nothing about you.

The one thing you can hand us is your email address, and only when you tick the box yourself. It is never ticked for you, and you can unsubscribe from anything we send.

Still holding a question this page does not answer? Bring it to the demo, or read what we believe and what it costs us.
